The emergence and spread of modern manga on a global scale date back to the mid-twentieth century, after the end of World War II, and the end of the American occupation of Japan, where Japanese art returned to life and the emergence of many artists such as “Osamu Tezuka.”

The author of the manga is called a mangaka. Often the author of the manga is its artist, but there are some works in which the author has collaborated with another artist.
